Why choose auto reset?
- Automatic reset: Designed for compatible equipment where automatic power restoration is appropriate.
- Built-in self-monitoring: Automatic self-testing supports routine TEST / RESET checks.
- Practical replacement: Replace the plug on compatible equipment instead of replacing the entire machine.
- Outdoor cable: 14 AWG SJTW cable and a compact separate wall plug.

Where it fits
Compatible pool pumps, circulation equipment and garden fountains where automatic restart is appropriate.
Check before choosing: Confirm your equipment rating, cord and wiring compatibility. For hand-held tools requiring a deliberate restart, consider the manual-reset model.
Before installation
- Disconnect equipment from power.
- Follow the included wiring and assembly instructions.
- Secure the housing and strain relief correctly.
- Test before use. If TEST does not interrupt power, stop using the device.
Not sure this is the right one?
Four steps. Done.
Strain relief, back cover, grommets for 18/16/14 AWG cords and all screws are in the box.
- 1
Unplug and strip
Unplug the cord from the wall. Cut off the dead plug. Strip the outer jacket back 21–22 mm, then each wire 8–9 mm.
- 2
Match wire to terminal
BLK → brass WHT → silver GRN → green. Tighten each screw clockwise.
- 3
Clamp and close
Tighten the strain-relief clamp over the outer jacket and close the housing so the gasket seals.
- 4
Test before use
Plug in → light on. Press TEST → power cuts. Press RESET → power back.
